Dear Fitsum,
Thank you for sharing your short biography and the family photo. Reading your story was a real pleasure, and it brought back so many good memories from our school days.
I’ve always admired your sharp mind and ability to grasp new ideas quickly. Even back in elementary school, you stood out with your intelligence and dedication. Your writing skills showed early on, like when you prepared that report after our football match. I also remember how your language ability was ahead of the class, and it really shone through in the school magazine.
Your academic achievements were inspiring, especially when you were honored by Emperor Haile Selassie with a book and a wristwatch. Later, your time at Addis Ababa University, though short, was memorable, and your years in Italy were truly unforgettable. I also treasure the moments we shared at the Canadian Embassy—the group talks and lunches at the stadium café are memories I’ll always carry with me.
Seeing your family photo was wonderful. It reminded me of your parents’ kindness and the strong bond within your family. It was always clear how blessed you were to grow up surrounded by love and understanding.
I’m grateful for these memories and happy to reconnect with them through your story. Wishing you and your family continued happiness and success.
Warm regards,
Good
