Yougo City Church, located in the Ayat area, held a meal-sharing program for 500 elderly people in celebration of the upcoming commemoration of the birth of Jesus Christ, which will be observed this coming Wednesday.

Fulfilling social responsibility and standing alongside the elderly is one of the entrusted duties of the Church and is also a charitable act that God loves.

Yesterday, Saturday, Tahsas 26, 2018 (E.C.), servants of Yougo City Church were present at the Mekedonia compound and participated in the meal-sharing program. The Church stated that it will continue to strengthen and carry out such activities.
The founder of the Mekedonia Elderly Care Center, Honorable Dr. Binyam Belets, expressed his gratitude—on behalf of the elderly—to the pastors and servants of Yougo City Church for organizing the meal-sharing program, and he called on other spiritual institutions to carry out similar charitable works.

Yougo City Church’s newly constructed building, which will officially begin service on Christmas Day, is located near the Mekedonia Center beside Ayat. The Church stated that, as a neighbor, it was motivated to help the elderly residents of the center.
“Pure and undefiled worship before God the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their distress, and to keep oneself unstained from the world.”
James 1:27
