They have served. When the Ethiopian constitution was signed in 1995 they have contributed their role as a member.

When the professor was the president of Addis Ababa University, he did a lot of work that cross generations. Among the contributions he made during his presidency, he is a scholar who contributed a lot to the blind by making decisions at the policy level by enabling the blind to go to Yared Music School and continue their education. He did the first physical training by taking out what was under guidance and counseling and giving a place to build a building. The professor is the one who established the Center for Disabled Students or (Special Needs Support Center).

Also, in the history of Addis Ababa University, the first female vice president of today, Professor Hirut Wolde Mariam was appointed at this time. Andreas is a philosopher who has made a great contribution to the country and Africa in different fields of education mainly in law philosophy and law and philosophy.

The professor has studied, taught and philosophized all his time. Andreas Eshette has been a teacher at Brown University in America: UCLA, Berlin, Pennsylvania University where he has taught abroad and produced many students.

He was known not only for teaching in different areas but also for teaching different subjects. From philosophy to ethics, religion to art, brotherhood to freedom, he was able to share many philosophies. Among the famous people who gained international recognition are the leading political philosopher Joseph Conn and the president of human rights Kenneth Roff who are mentioned among the professor’s students.

The professor was one of the famous scholars in the Ethiopian students movement during his youth. Although he fought with pen, his stand with black rights, his readiness and his political contribution to the country will be highlighted by being a member of the Ethiopian Socialist Movement (MEISON) party.

Even the professor is one of the great philosophers of Plato, Marx and Hegles, and local scholars like Negadras Tesema Eshete and Mengistu Lemma say that they have a great love and respect for literature.

Apart from teaching and university life, many national heritage, churches and national food, crosses and lamps books have been taken back to the country by the committee that was trying to bring back stolen Ethiopian artifacts to the country, by fighting with the international community and convincing them to bring back some of the resources in time. Besides his working life, the professor is described by his close friends, Andreas is a reader and a complete philosopher. He is a friend you can trust, knowledgeable and a player. He has a soft soul and if he sees someone hurt, he expresses his sorrow with tears. His friends describe him as a kind person who cares a lot about women’s rights. He was not only an observer but also a key participant in the key historical events of Ethiopia.

His colleagues describe the professor as an Ethiopian philosopher with deep reading and experience, who lives what he believes. In addition to his son Alula Andreas, his ex-wife Emuye Asfaw, who raised him with fatherly love, was a father of three children including Armak and Adey.
